Subject Description

This subject develops students' understanding of knowledge management systems and the various technologies that enable and facilitate the creation, storage and dissemination of organisational knowledge. To do this, the subject draws on contemporary literature on knowledge management and information systems as well as incorporating numerous business cases to enable students to gain a real world perspective of knowledge management systems in various organisational contexts.

Assessment

A 3-hour end-of-semester examination (60%) and assignments totalling not more than 4000 words (40%).
