Subject Description | This subject explores the design and implementation of cost management systems in a variety of organisational contexts. As well as emphasising technical expertise in the development of these systems, this subject also considers the use of cost system information in management decision making, specifically for the purposes of effective management of organisational resources and the creation of customer and shareholder value. |

Assessment | A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (60%), assignments of up to 2000 words in total (20%), tutorial preparation and participation (10%) and a 1-hour mid-semester test (10%). Satisfactory completion of this subject requires a 50% pass in the end-of-semester examination. |
