Subject Description | This subject introduces students to the theory and issues associated with leadership and teamwork within a workplace.
The subject covers the areas of:
leading and managing;
leadership and your work environment;
what is my leadership style?
leaders as change agents in the workplace;
the benefits of teams and teamwork;
the ways in which teams develop and some of the barriers teams encounter when they are introduced to the workplace;
building better teams;
the differences between leadership and management;

Assessment | The workbook (50%) and report of up to 2000 words (50%).
