Subject Description | This subject contains material intended to foster students' understanding of the processes and methods of social research, and to develop their ability to use social work practice research in a thoughtful and critical manner. |

Assessment | A group poster presentation totalling 2000 words per student 60% (due in week 7) and an essay of 2000 words 40% (due at the end of semester). A hurdle requirement of a minimum 80% attendance of tutorials required. |
