183-518 Hebrew and Jewish Studies Thesis

Prerequisites	Admission to the postgraduate diploma or fourth year combined honours in Jewish studies. Prospective students should contact the coordinator during the semester preceding that in which they wish to commence, ie. September for students wishing to start in semester one and May for students wishing to commence in semester two.

Contact	Regular meetings with the supervisor over two consecutive semesters of enrolment
Subject Description	A topic in Hebrew language, literature or another appropriate topic in Hebrew/Jewish studies selected in consultation with the supervisor.
Generic Skills	develop research skills; be able to manage time and workload: develop skills in researching material and preparing for further research and analytical thinking at a more advanced level.
Assessment	A 10 000 word thesis in Hebrew or a 12 000 word thesis in English on an approved topic 100% (due in the second semester of enrolment).
