Subject Description | This subject focuses on advanced modern literary texts, including study of contemporary Hebrew writers in prose and poetry, modern conversational idiom and newspaper and academic articles. At the completion of this subject students should have read, and possess an understanding of, selected advanced scientific and academic articles and essays. |

Assessment | Written essays totalling 3000 words 50% (due mid-semester and at the end of semester), a written examination 40% (due at the end of semester) and a translation test (at the end of semester) 10%. |
