Subject Description | In this subject students will study modern Hebrew literary texts, conversational idiom and grammar. At the completion of this subject students should have an enriched knowledge of the language through the use of modern Hebrew literature, the modern idiom spoken in Israel today, including its vocabulary, grammar and syntax, and be prepared for a broader range of expertise. |

Assessment | Written essays totalling 1500 words 40% (commencing at the beginning of semester and due at the end of semester), an oral exam 10% (at the end of semester), and a written examination 50% (at the end of semester). |
