Subject Description

This subject examines a topic or topics, or a single text, in continental philosophy, chosen from between the beginning of the 19th century and the present.

Generic Skills

  • improve the ability to articulate and defend views on the issues discussed;

  • develop skills in writing and researching philosophy;

  • improve their ability to critically analyse texts.

Assessment

An essay of 5000 words 100% (due at the end of semester)
