Subject Description | This subject is a continuation of 110-260 Advanced Chinese 1. It should enhance students' ability to understand and translate Chinese texts and to handle oral Chinese over a wide range of subject matter. |
Assessment | A short translation assignment 15% (due mid-semester), a short essay assignment 15% (due at the end of semester), an oral presentation 10% (due at the end of semester), a 2-hour final examination 50% (due during the examination period) and continuous class participation 10%. |
