10. Diploma in Music (Practical)

10. Diploma in Music (Practical)

Recognising that not all students interested in musical study wish to commit themselves to professional training in music, the University of Melbourne offers a concurrent Diploma in Music (Practical). Applications for entry into the Diploma should be made directly to the Faculty of Music upon acceptance into the student's main degree program. The Diploma in Music (Practical) will usually add one year to the total duration of the student's main degree course, and can only be awarded on the successful completion of the student's main degree.
