922-209 LaTrobe-Spanish Advanced 1C.

This subject focuses on practical Spanish language and grammar, with an introduction to modern Spanish and Latin American culture. Written texts, radio and TV material, films and literary texts will be used to sharpen and develop performance in speaking, listening, reading and writing, and to broaden the student's knowledge of Hispanic culture.

A 1.5-hour test 15% (due at the end of semester), written work comprising: class tests 20%, a 500-word essay 15%, listening comprehension 20% and one oral presentation 15%. Students must pass the end of semester written test in order to pass the subject.
