Subject Description | This subject examines the sources and consequences of globalisation in the world economy. It is primarily concerned to address questions such as: What is globalisation? What was the pattern of evolution of globalisation in the twentieth century? What are the main economic and political factors underlying the evolution of globalisation? Is globalisation related to economic growth? How has globalisation affected welfare of societies of different countries and regions in the world economy? |
