Subject Description | This subject aims to provide students with an overview of the various relationships between French society and its cinematic production. The evolution of French cinema will be analysed from historical, social, political, economic and aesthetic perspectives. Students who complete this subject should be able to demonstrate a general understanding of French cinema in its social context as well as develop an in-depth knowledge of a particular aspect of the relationship between French cinema and society. |
