Subject Description | This subject emphasises Spanish speaking and listening skills, while also attending to the development of reading and writing skills. The student will be involved in a wide range of language acquisition activities and will be exposed to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through written language, radio and film. |

Assessment | Two 15-minute listening exams of 600 words 40% (due during semester), a 30-minute oral presentation of 800 words 50% (due during semester) and participation throughout the semester 10%. |
