It will be team taught by art specialists in the School of Fine Arts and will focus on Old Master paintings, drawings and prints, Asian art and indigenous and Australian art since European settlement. From the nineteenth century Melbourne museums, but principally the National Gallery of Victoria, the Melbourne Museum and the State Library of Victoria, have built up internationally unparalleled art collections.
