Subject Description

This subject follows on from Intermediate Latin Language A to further extend and reinforces students' knowledge of Latin grammar and syntax. By continuing the close examination of Latin linguistic forms and structures, this subject provides students with a detailed understanding of how the Latin language functions, facilitates the reading of complex literary texts studied in other Intermediate Level Latin subjects, and prepares students for the study of Latin texts at Advanced Level. On completion of the subject, students should have consolidated and expanded their knowledge of Latin grammar and syntax, and improved their Latin reading ability.
