Subject Description | In this subject students learn to talk and write in Greek about a wide range of aspects of modern Greek culture and society in an informed and coherent manner, and to interpret short literary texts. Vocabulary and knowledge of grammar is systematically extended in the course of these readings and discussions. |

Assessment | Weekly assignments and class exercises of 1200 words 30% (due throughout the semester), a 500-word essay in Greek 15% (due at the end of semester), a 1-hour written test 25% (due at the end of semester), a 10-minute oral/aural test 10% (due mid-semester) and a 15-minute oral/aural test 20% (due at the end of semester). |
