Oral/aural work including one 30 minute listening test (in class) (10%) and one 10 minute oral presentation in class (15%); written work including five short grammar tests (10%), one 1500 word essay (15%), critique of another student's oral presentation (10%) and one composition (written in class) (10%); and one 1.5 hour final exam (30%). Third year students will be expected to show a greater achievement of discipline-specific skills in their written work than second year students.
