Subject Description | In this subject students will improve their skills in reading, comprehending and summarising scholarly works; learn how to take useful notes and paraphrase without plagiarising, learn how to build on information gathered in the construction of a coherent and well written essay; learn how to incorporate quotations into an essay; and learn how to employ the citation system used in musicology. These skills will be acquired with reference to concurrent assessment tasks in the core music history curriculum. |
