Subject Description | This subject provides an insight into wood and timber markets and how this relates to the tending and managing of forests and plantations. The subject brings together the science underpinning the growth and development of trees with the products that trees provide for a range of human use, and describes the principles and practices of forest establishment, regeneration and management for timber and other objectives. |
Assessment | One two-hour examination (50%), and up to four assessment tasks throughout the semester (totalling 5000 words, 50%). |
