Subject Description | This subject forms an introduction to theories, methods and ethical issues in qualitative research. The subject will focus on the techniques of field studies, intensive interviewing, and case studies. Students will carry out small scale qualitative research exercises and will present them orally and in writing. |

Assessment | Three assignments of 500 words 15% each (due during semester) and an essay of 2500 words for 3rd year, 3500 words for 4th year 65% (due at the end of semester). |
