Subject Description | This subject is taught in Swedish and deals with expressions of modern Swedish culture and society. It gives an overview of the social history of the modern Swedish state, and studies in detail some major works of 20th century literature and film. The subject explores the interplay between Swedish society and works of art, and on completion of the subject, students should have a grasp of some of the principle features, periods and themes of European culture, through acquaintance with Swedish culture. |
