Subject Description | This subject concentrates on training in listening and speaking skills in Spanish. Listening activities constitute the core of the subject, and are comprised of materials from a diverse range of varieties and registers of Spanish. Students will work individually and in small groups on a range of activities and tasks involving comprehension and production of original materials. Much of this work will be done in the computer-aided language laboratory and the audio language laboratory. |
Assessment | Two 15-minute listening exams of 600 words 40% (due during semester), a 30-minute oral presentation of 800 words 50% (due during semester) and participation throughout the semester 10%. |
