Subject Description | This subject emphasises Spanish speaking and listening skills, while also attending to the development of reading and writing skills. The student will be involved in a wide range of language acquisition activities and will be exposed to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through written language, radio, TV and film. |
Assessment | A 15-minute oral exam 25% (due during semester), three pieces of written homework 20% (due during semester), an essay of 600 words 20% (due during semester), two 1-hour written exams 35% (due mid-semester and during the examination period respectively). |
