Subject Description | In this subject students continue to develop their ability to participate in sophisticated interactions in Indonesian about social, political, ethnic and gender, cultural, and historical phenomena as they affect Indonesia and the world. Students will work with a variety of text types and other Indonesian media and present research project results in class. |

Assessment | Two essays of 1000 words 30% (due mid-semester and at the end of semester), a 10-minute oral exam 20%, a 2-hour written final examination 30% (during the examination period) and class participation 20%. Third year students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination. |
