Subject Description | This is a post-elementary subject in Chinese for students who have completed 110-028 Introductory Chinese 2A. By the conclusion of this subject students should have mastered the basic grammatical structures of Modern Chinese and have a vocabulary of approximately 1200 characters. |

Assessment | A mid-semester test 20% (due mid-semester), a composition test 20% (due in the last week of semester), a final 2-hour exam 50% (due during the examination period) and ongoing class participation 10%. |
