The Academic Programs (AP) student support team provides support and advice to more than 7000 local students in Arts undergraduate degrees, concurrent diplomas, graduate certificates and diplomas, and professional postgraduate coursework certificates, diplomas and masters programs. AP is the first point of contact for new local BA students and its support team is dedicated to assisting new students in their transition to university life. Administrative staff in Arts AP are available for appointments throughout the year to personally assist you in planning an appropriate course of study, to work out strategies to help improve your academic performance and to assist you in gaining the full benefit of your Arts experience.

Arts International is a dedicated team of specialised administrative support staff dealing with around 1000 international students in the Faculty. The team provides personalised assistance and advice for international students. External Relations coordinates school visits, Arts Alumni, and Arts' contribution to the University's Discovery Day, Welcome Day and the Melbourne University Program for High Achieving Students (MUPHAS).

Research is a major function of the Faculty and the Arts Reserach team provides assistance and support to masters by research and PhD students in the Faculty. Fourth year students wishing to enrol in a research MA or PhD should seek advice from the Arts Research Team.
