At second year, VCE Portuguese and at third year, VCE Portuguese or H3 or better in 922-033 LaTrobe-Portuguese Beginners 2B/3B or approval of the subject coordinator.

The subject aims to consolidate the skills acquired in VCE Portuguese or 922-033 LaTrobe-Portuguese Beginners 2B/3B. Students will continue to acquire and perfect knowledge of the language through a range of activities involving language laboratory and computer-aided exercises, practical work in small groups and pairs, and through the study of Luso-Brazilian culture and society as represented in the media, in cinema, and in representative examples of Luso-Brazilian literature.
