Subject Description | The emphasis in this subject is on the writing of some of the major contemporary women writers of Spain and Latin America. Consideration will be given to the literary and theoretical trends which underpin the texts, and to the sociohistorical and cultural contexts within which the authors are writing. |
Assessment | Written work and an oral presentations equivalent to 4000 words for 3rd year, 5000 words for 4th year students. Fourth year students will be expected to show greater achievement and application of research skills, and will give a longer presentation. |
