25 points of second-year theatre studies or equivalent.

This subject is a study of selected performances which may be either live performance or videotapes of live performance. While the selected performances are the primary case studies, students will have the opportunity to include other performances as comparative studies. Dramaturgical, cultural, historical or political discourses will be used for performance analysis and students will be encouraged to consider questions about performance in contemporary culture.
