Subject Description | This subject addresses issues of theory and practice in the arenas of art, performance and technology. To this end, the subject will feature non-traditional teaching and learning formats that will seek to address interdisciplinary, intercultural, and multi-modal issues and forums. Of critical importance here is the interaction of new technologies and their applications. A program of lecture/seminar presentations will develop thematic concerns that will sit in dialogue with student-initiated projects across a variety of art forms. |
Assessment | Seminar dialogue and participation; an essay totalling 2500 words; a practical project that identifies and applies relevant theoretical concerns equivalent to 1500 words. Minimum of 80% attendance (hurdle requirement). |
