Subject Description | Students of this subject will study principles of the craft of scriptwriting for theatre and performance focusing on elements that distinguish theatre scripts from other genres. Students will read and analyse a variety of theatre texts. Workshop exercises will allow students to apply the principles that they have explored through the writing of a short script. |
Assessment | A written script, including revisions and a 10-minute reading, equivalent to 4000 words, and regular attendance and participation in tutorials and workshops. |
