Subject Description | This subject explores the elements of myth and ritual in performance and the relationship of myth to the broader culture. It examines the ways in which myth-making produces meaning in traditional and contemporary culture and the conventions that govern its transformation into performance. |
Assessment | Written work totalling 4000 words or equivalent including a tutorial paper, essay, and a group devised performance of up to 15 minutes. Minimum 80% attendance required (hurdle requirement). |
