Subject Description | This subject is designed to summarize the breadth of the BUPD course by applying the knowledge and skills developed in the previous three years to a public policy issue. It will provide the opportunity for students, working in groups alongside staff, to respond to a major urban planning problem. That will call for a range of analytical and presentation skills. The subject will provide students with experience close to that found in day to day planning activity. |
Assessment | A scoping report putting the issue in international, national and metropolitan planning context. (1500 words) (30%). An outline of the possible alternative approaches to the issue (1500 words) (30%). A proposed strategy (2,000 words) (40%). |
