Subject Description	This subject introduces students to the morphological diversity of the world's languages, to the principles, the techniques and theories needed to analyse them; and to their relation to syntax, phonology, semantics and discourse function.
Assessment	Written work totalling 4000 words.
Prescribed Texts	A subject reader will be available.
