Subject Description | This subject consists of a one-hour lecture on contemporary Germany and a one-hour language seminar consisting of reading and speaking exercises in German. On completion of the subject students should have the vocabulary for a moderate level of complexity in speaking, aural understanding, reading and writing of German and a level of competency required for admittance into 126-008 Intermediate German C and 126-009 Intermediate German D. |
Assessment | A 1-hour mid-semester test and a 2-hour examination. |
