Subject Description	An approved topic/research project selected in consultation with the supervisor/s. The student will also write a research proposal and give an oral presentation on the proposed research.
Assessment	A thesis of 15000 words. Hurdle requirement: 2000 word research proposal, oral presentation of 30 minutes; attendance at departmental research seminars.
