Subject Description | Through this subject honours students are encouraged to utilise Japanese language sources for their research. Students submit an English translation of a Japanese text chosen by the student and approved by the subject coordinator. The text must be related to the honours thesis. The main goal of this subject is to enable students to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Japanese text through lucidly expressed English paraphrase. |
Assessment | An independent English translation of a Japanese text totalling 5000 words. |
