Subject Description | This is the beginners post-introductory level subject. It provides students with further expressions to facilitate clarity of expression and ability to manage daily life in Japan smoothly. Students will learn a further 150 basic kanji (Chinese characters) which are essential to basic reading. Students learn more about aspects of Japanese culture which influence its language use. Computer and language laboratory instruction will support the curriculum. |
Assessment | A 2-hour final examination; and assignments, quizzes, oral and listening tests totalling 6000 words. |
