107-250 Intermediate Ancient Greek A, 107-480 Advanced Ancient Greek A, 107-252 Intermediate Ancient Greek C and 107-253 Intermediate Ancient Greek D, or an approved equivalent, or admission to the postgraduate diploma or fourth year honours in classics.

This subject involves reading and discussion of literary and non-literary texts; and advanced linguistic topics. On completion of the subject students should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original, consolidating their knowledge of grammar and syntax and extending their vocabulary.
