107-254 Intermediate Latin A

Formerly available as 115-022. Students who have completed 115-022 are not eligible to enrol in this subject.

VCE Latin or 107-153 Beginners Latin B or an approved equivalent.

The subject consists of reading literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises; and Latin literary criticism. On completion of the subject students should have read a number of Latin texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax.
