Admission to fourth-year combined honours in Modern Greek.

In this subject selected Greek-Cypriot and Cypriot-Australian texts are analysed from the point of view of their themes, style, genre; and issues of identity, language/dialect, tradition, politics and ethnicity. Students will be introduced to postcolonial theory as a framework for investigating the above aspects of Cypriot writing.
