Special enrolment arrangements apply. The subject is available only to students who have some prior knowledge of Spanish, but who do not have VCE Spanish or equivalent. Students must contact both the Faculty of Arts Office for application forms and further details, and an adviser in the Spanish Department at La Trobe University prior to enrolling. This subject was previously 1C1: Intermediate Spanish 1.

922-211 LaTrobe Spanish Intermediate 1C

This subject emphasises the skills of speaking and listening, while also attending to the development of reading and writing skills. The student will be involved in a wide range of language acquisition activities and will be exposed to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through the written language, radio, TV and film.

Written work of 1500 words, oral/aural tests (1500 words equivalent) and a 1-hour written test.
