This is a creative writing (T/P) subject.

25 points of first-year creative writing.

This subject explores the principles of the craft of writing non-fiction. Students will be required to read a range of non-fiction writing, study cultural and theoretical issues related to non-fiction writing and journalistic practice, and write exercises in non-fiction.

Written work totalling 4000 words, including up to three pieces of non-fiction writing and documentation of the research background to finished pieces. Attendance and participation in workshops and tutorials is required.
