This subject is an introduction to a range of poetic forms. Students will read poetry from various periods and cultures, with an emphasis on 20th century poetry.

Written work equivalent to 4000 words, including approximately 12 poems or 100-120 lines of poetry and regular attendance and participation in tutorials and workshops.
