468-103 Contexts of Workplace Training

Special requirement: Students in this subject are required to have access to an approved role in education and training which will enable them to undertake workplace assessment as required.

This subject focuses on forms of preparation for work and how these reflect the social, political and economic structures of education and society; an introduction to current VET policy and infrastructure at federal, state and local levels; and exploration of the roles of professional groups within VET.
