Special requirement: Students in this subject are required to have access to an approved role in education and training which will enable them to undertake workplace assessment as required.

This subject is an introduction to the social, psychological and cultural theories of learning; the role of language and communication in learning; and strategies for building constructive learning group cultures and for overcoming difficulties experienced by educators and trainers when working with groups and individuals.
