485-300 Practicum 3, or equivalent.

Students will gain experience of management and leadership in service(s) for children aged 0-5 years shadowing the role of an early childhood professional. Their work will accommodate the needs of children from minority groups incorporating equity principles and in recognition of the context of those children's lives. Experience will be gained in the use of technology in the administration and management of children's services. Students will have the opportunity to extend their understandings of other academic subjects within a practical setting.

Twenty-five days of practicum, and associated written tasks as specified in the BECS 4 Practicum manual.
