Subject Description	Upon completion, students should be able to understand and apply theories and techniques which are at the forefront of fluid mechanics research. Topics include theories of turbulence, flow pattern topology; critical point theory; and vortex dynamics.
Assessment	One examination not exceeding three hours (100%).
