Semester 2: Two 1-hour lectures and a 1-hour tutorial per week. Summer Semester: One 2-hour lecture/workshop three days per week for six weeks

Subject Description

Topics include external influences on human resource management, organisational structure and culture, human resource planning, job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal and management, compensation and remuneration, human resource outcomes and current issues in human resource management.

Assessment

A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (70%) and assignments totalling 2000 words (30%).
